Belt sizing can be tricky, but with a few simple instructions it certainly doesn't have to be.

To determine your belt size, simply measure your belt from the tip of the buckle (shown below) to the hole at which you most commonly and comfortably wear it. We recommend wearing a pair of dress pants or khakis when checking where you wear a current belt, as that will be the style of pants with which you'll wear your new C&C product.  Subtract 2, and that's all it takes!

Still confused? I'll use myself as an example.

I'm a 34 waist, my belt measures 38 inches from the tip to the most-used hole, and it's a size 36.

So then why do we ask for your jean size?

We don't expect everyone to measure themselves before ordering. We ask that you give us your jean size because jean size is almost always 2 inches less than your true belt size. If you find that this isn't true for your belt measurement/jean size, then simply add a note when ordering your product and we'll adjust accordingly.

All of our belts come standard with 7 holes, each 3/4 of an inch apart. We size each product to fit on the third hole--from our experience this is the most aesthetically pleasing when worn and gives a nice balance to the belt.  To clarify, if you measure your belt size to be a 36, the third hole of your C&C product will be at 38 inches, giving room for both a slight increase or decrease in weight. If you would like your belt sized to give you room to lose a few pounds (congrats, we're rooting you on!), please plan accordingly when ordering.
